Thanks for the kind words, I feel that this has been what all the other projects were leading too, sure there are some excellent cabs out there, but all the stuff I had just waiting for this cab to turn up has made me feel that I have finally done it.

And if I just went out and got a working / mame cabinet I would tire of it instantly.

Also the speed of soldering the controllers was surprising- my arcade stick took ages, but I knocked out two new controllers and mapped them in a couple of hours!

I now also thing that 4 way directional games have more longevity than 8 way games!

Brilliant stuff Carl..would loved this covered in the HH mag, but doesn't fit the criteria in there, stuff like this needs to be out there in the wild and covered in a more entertaining yet informative manner, as none of the magazine out there will touch this type of thing with a barge pole, which it there loss tbh.
