Here's another Kickstarter that should be of interest:  Neo Geo Anthology: History & Complete Games Library.

And now that I've looked at it more, nope not a chance I'm backing it.

€60 for the complete book isn't too bad, but their €50 shipping cost is just stupid! That works out to $150 CDN. I'd love to have the book but not at that price.

Looking through the campaign, it says that RVG is a partner and they have a link to the site too. Do you know anything about this [member=5810]zapiy[/member] ?

For me it sure does. There is a note about the shipping and it looks like if you live in Europe or the USA it's handled by local couriers and probably not very expensive. For anyone else though it says it's unavoidably expensive.

For most people the shipping cost isn't going to be anywhere near as high as it would be for me. Just depends where you live. They're not too far off from the goal so it looks like it's going to get funded which is great to see.

Heavy books can certainly add up to shipping cost unless there is a book rate that can be used.  I know the USPS has one but I think it's only within the States that it works.

I just learned about this and wanted to share it.  Orion currently has a Kickstarter running for a game called Escape 2042.  This game is a fast paced 2D platformer with 2 mini-games included.  The main game features security cameras to avoid, firing enemies, grenades to collect, computer "hacking" to open doors or disable laser protection fields, and level card based locked door in the first prison levels.  The game will take place in 3 different environments (prison, forest, desert) interspersed with 2 mini-games including a reversed shoot'em up and an original abseiling game.

The project is targeted for the following platforms:
-Gameboy (DMG, Pocket, Color, GBA) cartridge + box with manual
-Megadrive PAL (and Genesis NTSC) cartridge + box with manual
-Dreamcast (Region free, Factory pressed CD)
-Windows (Vote for this game on Steam Greenlight !)
-PC-Engine CD (if the Stretch Goal is met)

Check out the campaign here:  Escape 2042

I did see this one and meant to share it the other day but I guess I got the feeling its not looking likely to hit target.

Unfortunately, it is indeed far from from it's goal but I still wanted to share it since Orion is a known developer.

Orion started a thread on AA about possibly changing this to a Jaguar release. The KS obviously isn't going very well so he was trying to gauge support for the Jag instead. Just shows how dedicated Jaguar fans are and how much people are willing to support homebrew development for it as opposed to other consoles that sold much better!
