even more :-)

Cannon Spike DC
The Da Vinci code
Gretcher from Knights contract
Trickstyle DC
Niobe (Enter The Matrix)
Seven Blades
Alone In The Dark IV (play as male or female)
Maken's X+Shao
Blade-A PC swords/sorcery game had choice of male barbarian, Dwarf or female amazon.
The Mummy
Despira DC

And why only male tennis players in Virtua Tennis on DC?-Producers said they went for male playters to create a powerful tennis game and there were many more male sports fans in terms of videogame sports, so they wanted them to be able to identify with the characters during a game.

Fading Shadows (PSP) Sister use's brothers soul (trapped in an orb) to save the world, so it's she who's tasked with guiding his soul to saftey, defeating the evil etc etc, not him, so she's far from in need of rescuing herself.
