New Page 1

Those who have seen Fusion Retro Books, Ocean, US Gold and Spectrum books have always commented on their quality and content. This book will be printed by the same printer to the very same quality and be full of content an never seen before imagery. The spine will be 'stitch-bound' allowing the book to be opened further so you can see that part of the image that is normally in the spine if glued. This will be ideal for this 236 page book where each and every pixel can be seen.

Teaming up Roger Kean once again on this project - as you may know Roger owned Newsfield Publications that launched Crash, Zzap! 64, Amtix etc.

Roger has been responsible for documenting the history in both my Ocean and U.S. Gold book and his skills will be used once again to put to paper the story of The Oliver Twins, from the very start in their early teens up to the point they started Blitz.

The book will be a classic British Story of Brothers turning a love of games, into a business that inspired so many.

My first love when growing up in West Wales back in the 80's was the ZX Spectrum. It was the one I got for Christmas back in 1982. Other friends in my small town had the Commodore 64 and I remember visiting them now and again to play the latest games on the system. I was always gob-smacked by the music playing when the game loaded and the colourful graphics. I was slightly jealous of my friends, but never let on in the banter in the school playground.

I've loved the SID chip ever since and am proud to have a number of those whose music I listened to back in the day contribute to this book.

I've also had the pleasure, whilst publishing my book on both Ocean and US Gold, of bumping into some iconic Commodore 64 programmers and artist and many of them will also be writing memoirs on why the Commodore 64 means so much to them - this includes those from here in the UK and across the pond in America.
