Retro Media. / Re: 3 issues of Retro gamer Magazine for a 1

does anyone read the GamesTM retro section?   I realize it's put together by a lot of the RG faces, but I think it often has a more interesting take on retro for some reason.

i went into a Game yesterday to pick up a few more bargains and they were still buying used games - which I thought was very very odd, as the fire sale was designed to raise cash - so why pay out cash you don't have for more used games?   Wonder if they're considering becoming a CEX trade in only style chain?

a PC in a Vic or c64 - I'd love that! Most laptops are utterly boring in form

marathon & durandal are shonky tosh on IOS. Assume there better on Mac with a mouse?

Mac gaming is really a big mystery to me, but my mate
is a fan.

i was never clear what Games selling point was.

they weren't that cheap, trade in & new copies in the
same store was dumb & there selection was often odd (some stores
had as much ps2 and pc games as they did ps3 or 360).

SF Cave is a nice free title with atari vcs style
graphics - odd music though.

game do seemed to have been asleep for years.

my friend in Croydon told me they had 3 game group
shops within 60seconds walk of each other until recently!

been on the cards for weeks.  Never liked Game much,
but used to like Gamestation before Game bought it. Sad,
but Game doesn't seem well run, so not surprising

hi guys, only been on here a week, but if i have one bit of feedback it's probably too many threads, most with 1 or 2 posts (inc some I've started!)

until more people join, fewer focused threads might help things flow?

(pimp the forum more on twitter too & I'll get people
i know to retweet)

I forgot to include one that works well on both Android phones and tablets:  Captain America

I got Atari Greatest Hits when Amazon had it for free one day, so it has more games included.  You may want to check Amazon every day to see what they offer as they mostly give away games for Android.

cheers for the tip - will check that Amazon out

good list - just downloaded Atari's greatest hits and good luck! it comes with my favourite Atari game free, Missile Command.  Works OK - again as with Blitz, wish the screen response was a bit quicker - nice for free though

today I found Dracula 2: Resurrections for PS1 in a charity shop near work - no idea about this game - but worth a 50p punt (discs a bit scratched)
