Does anybody on here own one, if so, is it any good? I'm due an upgrade in December and am considering this. It's  had fantastic reviews but I would love to hear from someone who I can 'trust' if you know what I mean.

I bloody love a good RPG, and did even more so back in the day, here's 10 of my favourites. I don't really have a number 1, so these are in no particular order.

1: Y'S (SMS) This was the first RPG I ever played, and a brilliant way to be introduced to the genre.
2: Phantasy Star 1 (SMS) A truly massive and epic game, and bloody hard too! A classic.
3: Phantasy Star 3 (MD) Fantastic replay value, and a good alternative take on the series.
4: Phantasy Star 4 (MD) The peak of the series, fantastic.
5: Final Fantasy 4 (2 in the US, SNES) The best game in the FF series if you ask me. Ive played through it numerous times on numerous systems and never got bored with it. Oh, and the music is fantastic.
6: Buck Rogers, countdown to doomsday (MD) This was really immersive, it looked and sounded rather crap but that didn't matter a jot. Super game.
7: Shining Force 2 (MD) I loved the battle system here, and character progression was good fun too. Would love to see a modern day reboot, it would be a thing of beauty.
8: Suikoden (PS1) A unique and great game, getting all 108 characters was a very addictive task.
9: Final Fantasy 7 (PS1) So much to do, so well put together and the materia system was a great idea, used to spend loads of time on this (could never defeat emerald weapon though!)
10: D+D Warriors of the Eternal Sun (MD) Iirc this game wasn't rated particularly well back in the day, but this didn't stop me from sinking loads of hours into it. I loved it.

Over to you guys..

No, im not talking about piracy here (yet). I was just wandering if any naughty guys and gals on here ever stole a game or two in their lifetime? Once I reached the ripe old age of 11 I was allowed to get the bus into Solihull on my own with pals. Every Saturday we would go swimming at Tudor Grange and spend the rest of the day around the town.

There used to be a John Menzies in Solihull and to our amazement they used to keep their games in the display cases. This was all the encouragement we needed, and having our kit bags to hand made the task all the more easy. Yes it was naughty  :71: but there would have been an awful lot less CPC games in my collection if I hadnt done so.

As for the piracy side, well I owned a CPC so my options were rather limited  :21:

So come on folks, nows the time to own up.
