Marketplace / Revival - Homebrew Fanzine (14 Issues)
« on: February 12, 2016, 08:41:58 AM »
I have issues 32 - 45 of this fanzine in excellent condition up for sale.

For those who are not aware, Revival is a fanzine devoted totally to homebrew and although produced outside the UK, it has had an English translation.

I have a total of 14 issues here, which cost me a fortune to import I hasten to add!

Retro Media. / Something new
« on: October 03, 2014, 10:41:59 AM »
Right, a bit of a long shot, but worth a try.

Over the past few weeks, a small team (including myself) have been working on an idea for a regular magazine/periodical (although it has the opportunity to be much much more than that), which we believe will appeal to those wanting more than whatever the pages of RetroGamer and other mags currently give them.

I know this is very vague, as I am not actually giving much information out about the contents, but I am asking if anyone here would be interested in contributing at some point?

We are particularly looking for more technical articles along with software related content (Homebrew, programming etc).  Basically anything new designed or developed for an old machine.

Thanks in advance.

Introductions / Hi....

Some of you already know me as RetroRevival on the RG forum, however my real name is Simon hence the moniker here.

I was involved in the retro scene a few years ago writing the RetroRevival fanzine, but have been watching from afar for the last 5 years or so.

Mainly into emulation as I simply do not have the time or money to spend on the original gear.

Good to see some familiar faces in here...
